About me
I’m a screenwriter, director, and creative producer. I hold a Master’s degree in Communication from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where I researched the development and role of Brazilian showrunners in the streaming era. I’m also specialist in Film and Television at the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV). I’ve graduated in Social Communication – Journalism from the Federal University of Pará, in the Amazon region of Brazil, where I worked as a producer, screenwriter, and director at TV Cultura do Pará. I participated as a screenwriter in the Creative Hubs of projects by the Amazon-based production company Visionária Filmes, as well as by Parioca Filmes. I wrote and directed the VR short film Iracema’s Promise (2020), which was awarded “Best First Time VR” at The Fine Arts Film Festival in California. I also directed October, Second Sunday, the first collaborative film about the Círio de Nazaré — a hybrid project launched and produced by TV Cultura do Pará. Among my most recent works is the script and co-direction of the TV film Pés de Peixe, together with Aldemar Matias. The project won the 2023 TV Globo Affiliate Specials Contest and aired during the primetime “Tela Quente” slot. It is currently available on Globoplay . I also teach courses and workshops in my areas of expertise, especially focusing on the creation and development of audiovisual projects.
Let’s work together.
