Over 34 days of traveling along the Xingu River and its surrounding communities, I worked as assistant director on this project — the first feature-length documentary by Pará-born director and screenwriter Ângela Gomes. The film aims to portray the transformations in the life of the river and the communities that depend on it, ten years after the installation of the Belo Monte hydroelectric dam. Currently in post-production.
