The life of a girl who was born in a mine workers’ village and has to learn to live with successive losses. With the end of mining in the region, the place turns into a ghost town. With nowhere to go, she and her dog are the only ones who stay there until a dam burst decimates the village. Even after losing all her worlds, Kaylane insists in surviving and resisting. A film about growing up and dreaming in the midst of dust, mud and silence.
